Hello from Fi at the Magenta Tiger,

Welcome to this weeks Blog Hop, tonight we are CASEing from pages 10 – 19 of the New Holiday Catalogue. There are TOO many samples to CASE in these pages.

I’m in need of lots of birthday cards for family and friends over the next couple of months: so I started today. I’ve been inspired by the layout of the gorgeous Wild Wasabi card on page 18.

Here is my card:

HOW DID I MAKE THIS CARD?

  • Card Base: Bermuda Bay (14.8cm x 21cm)
  • Layer 1: Bermuda Bay (14.3cm x 10.5cm)
    • Run though the Big Shot in the Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
  • Layer 2: Merry Music Specialty Designers Series Paper (9.5cm x 9.5cm)
    • I’ve added  Bermuda Bay and Pool Party Ink to this piece of DSP with Sponge Daubers
    • I’ve punched out a row of ‘Decorative Ribbon’ in Champagne Foil with the Decorative Ribbon Border.

CASEing the Catty 145 –       Merry Little Christmas

  • Layer 3: Vellum (8.5cm x 8.5cm)
    • Run though the Big Shot in the Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
  • Big Shot Butterfly
    • Background Butterfly was cut out with the Butterfly Framelit from the Move Me Thinlits. I’ve then coloured it in Bermuda Bay and Pool Party with Sponge Daubers
    • I’ve cut out the Detailed Butterfly Thinlit in Champagne Foil. This Champagne Foil is an amazing New Product in the new Holiday Catalogue.
    • I curled up the wings of the butterfly with my Bone Folder
  • Sentiment: ‘FABULOUS’ from the Tabs for Everything Stamp Set, stamped in Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White Card Stock then cut out with the Classic Label.

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping along. Hop over Peta’s Blog. If you want to play along with CASEing the Catty, head over to our Facebook page to add your creations.

Happy hopping and happy crafting!

Love Fi xxx
